Installation Guide

Installation Guide

Performance parts change how your car behaves. These guides explain what to check before, during and after installation. Always use a qualified workshop for suspension and safety-critical work.

Coilovers

  1. Measure your current ride height and record it before starting.
  2. Support the car on stands and remove the wheels.
  3. Remove the original struts and springs, keeping all hardware.
  4. Set the spring preload to the manufacturer’s specification before fitting.
  5. Fit the coilovers, torque all bolts to factory specification.
  6. Lower the car and check clearance at full lock.
  7. Always book a four-wheel alignment after fitting.
  8. Re-check ride height and torque after 100 km.

Adjustable articulated arms

  1. Replace one arm at a time so the geometry does not shift unexpectedly.
  2. Set the arm to the same length as the original as a starting point.
  3. Have the alignment adjusted by a workshop with the correct target values.

Forged wheels

  1. Confirm bolt pattern (PCD), offset (ET) and centre bore before fitting.
  2. Check brake caliper clearance, especially on big-brake cars.
  3. Torque wheel nuts in a star pattern and re-check after 100 km.
  4. Use the correct type of wheel nut for your car (ball seat, cone seat or flat).

Dry carbon fiber parts

  1. Test-fit the part before any drilling or bonding.
  2. Clean the mounting surface and remove all grease.
  3. Use the recommended adhesive or fasteners; do not over-tighten.
  4. Check panel gaps and adjust before final fixing.
